A dynamic multi-instrumentalist from Charlotte, NC, Walter D. Holland has built a career blending jazz, radio, and jingle production. An award-winning jingle writer, he studied under the legendary Alvin Batiste at Southern University in Baton Rouge, where his classmates included Randy Jackson, Branford Marsalis, and Donald Harrison.

His musical expertise led him into radio, shaping soundscapes as a jingle producer at WJBO/WFMF and later serving as music director for the late Bethel Nathan. He has contributed his talents to stations across the country, including WCAS in Cambridge/Boston and KRKY/KRKM in Grand County, Colorado.

Beyond the airwaves, Walter’s passion for composition continues. He remains active in the industry, crafting fresh, compelling jingles in collaboration with Justin Jordan of Houston, ensuring his influence in music and media endures.
